Despite a considerable amount of professional success, Ron Browz has confirmed that he has in fact split from his label Universal Motown.
Browz recently shot a video for his latest single ‘$20 Dollarz,’ which is due to surface in the next few weeks.
The remix of the track is particularly feature-heavy, with contributions from Jim Jones, OJ Da Juiceman, Mase, Nicki Minaj and Shawty Lo.
He is also working on his major label debut album, which was due for release in late 2009.
The producer behind Busta Rhymes smash, ‘Arab Money’ and Jim Jones’ ‘Pop Champagne,’ who has also worked with the likes of 50 Cent, Nas, Snoop Dogg and DMX, stated that he had ‘creative differences’ with the label. He has also recently worked on releases for Ghostface Killah, Nicki Minaj and Bobby Valentino.
Browz told Allhiphop.com that he was currently looking to negotiate a new deal for his Ether Boy imprint after only a year at Universal.
