Omarion No Longer Getting Young Money

Lil Wayne and Baby’s Cash Money clique have recently been the source of much speculation. Recently, rumours have been circulated throughout the online hip hop community about Omarion’s alleged departure from Young Money. The former B2K singer only joined Lil Wayne’s imprint in the beginning of June this year.

Mack Maine, the president of Young Money, which was founded by Lil Wayne in 2003, released a written statement explaining the situation. Maine confirmed that the news was not a rumour, staying:

“Omarion is no longer with Young Money. May God be with him and his future endeavors.”

Omarion was allegedly dismissed from the label for leaking a collaboration with Lil Wayne. The singer will now have to find a new label to release his latest album ‘A New Me.’

The announcement come just shortly after the news that rapper Bow Wow would be joining the Cash Money family.
